Shoe Jones - Peep-Toes & Jewels

I am really feeling the peep-toe booties and the jeweled stilettos this summer! I think they really accentuate the legs in a beautiful way and they help hide skinny ankles (like mine).

Below are just a few of my favorites I found at www.BchicShoes.com

It is a fashionable website of a great shoe boutique in Atlanta, B-Chic Shoetique. There is also another store by the same owner in Harlem, NY called Bourgeoisie Shoetique.

I will definitely be stopping by when I visit the NYC this fall.

A Cure for the Winter Blues!

Well ladies, if your town is like mine, (it is 6 degrees here and snow on the ground - BRRR) I am sure you are ready for summer. My readers in Cali, you are so lucky, but for the rest of us, we need warmth. I have attached a few pics of summer in the way of sexy sandals. Pretty soon it will be sandal time and these pics will help get us through the frigid days ahead.

Below are selections from the new Spring/Summer Gucci collection I thought were oh so sexy!
I won't be seeking out a pair this year because I am on a quest to pay off debt in 2010, but I can look.

Manolo Blahnik!

I love over the top shoes in the winter. I am also a boot junkie. Manolo Blahnik gives a girl like me the best of both worlds - over the top boots!

The prices are over the top as well, but the fashion is fierce!

Above are a few sassy pieces that have caught my eye!

My Wish List - Christian Louboutin!

I have a sick shoe fetish, but I am particular about how much I will spend on one pair.

But there is something so sexy and boardroom diva(ish) about these shoes! I am usually not a "glitter" shoe girl, but even these would look good with a pair of jeans and a cute sweater or you could pair them with a pair of leggings and a dark sweater dress for the holidays. Just make sure not to sexy them up too much or you will look like something you don't want to look like if you know what I mean.

As for the print shoes below, well the look says it all! What a great way to add flavor to a neutral ensemble. I love wearing all one color and adding pop at my feet with a burst of color or print.

Now if only Mr. Louboutin were in my price range................... Oh well, a girl can dream!

Oh and by the way, the shoes I have on in the previous pic are Carlos Santana. His shoes are great and very reasonable. They are also very comfortable which is great for a girl like me who loves stilettos!

Jazzy feet are always in fashion!

Fall Boots

Another item on my list. This is the J.Crew Nottingham Tall Boot and it is around $300.

At least this one more affordable than the Fendi Mary Jane.(But that shoe is fierce)

Why the heck are boots so darn expensive now?

I feel boots are worth a splurge because for me, they have to be good quality. Usually, the better quality means more expensive. I am hard on shoes so a cheaply made one will not last through the winter!

In the fall and winter, I am a boot fiend. When I lived in L.A., I wore boots in the summer.

Right now I own 16 pair and I am still adding to the collection. Some of them I have had for over 10 years (hence the need to buy better quality - worth the money because they last longer thus saving me money and saving me from the need to buy boots every year).

This boot is a great color because you can rock it with anything. Throw them on with Jeans, a short skirt or a little dress and a hat and finish the look with a big, bad bag of the same color or in the same color scheme (contrast is good), and you are hot! My honey loves when I rock dresses with boots. He says it it so sexy, but understated at the same time. Go figure!

I love boots and it is the only thing about winter I look forward to.

What is your favorite winter wardrobe item?

Shoe Fetish

Ladies, here is another shoe that is calling my name. It is the Fendi Suede Platform Mary Jane. This shoe would be great for fall with a tweed suit or a sexy dress.
Unfortunately, I am on a mission to save this year and not go over my budget for only one item. Maybe this one will be on sale soon!
Nevertheless, it is a hot shoe! What do you think?

Fall Fashion - The Bootie

I am really feeling the bootie for fall.
I remember wearing them about 15-20 years ago, but the new styles are much more flattering.
I like the open toe style, but I don't know how that will work in St. Louis.
I guess as long as the snow stays away, everything will be o.k.

Let's Talk Fashion - My Shoe Fetish

I have a serious shoe fetish! I just adore cute, sexy shoes. I like flats for comfort, but a serious, sexy, 3inch or higher stiletto just does something to me. Now I find myself loving the bright, bold colors and the wild styles I am seeing on blogs and in fashion magazines.

Check out the two looks I have my eye right on right now:

Let's Talk Fashion

Enough about hair for now.

Let's talk about my other favorite subject - Fashion! I love everything fashionable from clothing to television shows. Right now I am really feeling a certain shoe, but the price is not feeling me. It is the Christian Louboutin Nitoinimoi (No, I can't pronounce it but I sure could wear the heck out of it). It also comes in a steel grey w/suede straps (which is really the one I want, but I can't cut and paste the picture off the website)
Go to http://www.christianlouboutin.com/ to see the grey bootie and you will know why I am having a Jones fit for it.
These shoes just bring out the sexy!

The price is about $1200 and I can't seriously think about buying them. The price is way too high for me to justify the indulgence. A purse, maybe because I can carry a purse forever if I take care of it. A shoe, I think not because we all know what can happen to a shoe when you wear it (heel stuck in crack - someone steps on shoe in club - shoe gets scratched - etc.)

They have sites that offer knockoffs, but that just isn't my style (anymore). I will definitely be watching Saks to see if they ever go on sale. I would pay no more than $400 for them if that was the lowest they went down to. Tell me what you think and let me know what fashion must-have is tickling your nose and wallet right now but you just won't budge.

ALSO...........

A friend told me about a website that carries all of the hot fashions for much less. If you are a savvy (sometimes) shopper like me, then this is the site to check out. It is http://www.shopstarstyle.com/ and it is fabulous.

It is on the up & up because I purchased a pair of Rock & Republic Jeans and they are great and I had no problems with shipping or quality.
